I put this reed diffuser at the bottom of my stairs because I wanted to see if I could actually smell it when I came downstairs first thing in the morning. I definitely can. It does a surprisingly good job of softly filling the area without becoming so strong that I want to move it to another room.The actual fragrance is not quite what I expected from the description, though. I really do not pick up much vanilla bean. To me it smells more like Grandma’s lotion mixed with baby powder and a soft rosy floral scent. That probably sounds questionable written out, but I promise I mean it affectionately. It is light, clean and powdery rather than heavy or perfumey.I am pretty sensitive to home fragrances that get too strong and start giving me a headache, and this has not done that. It is noticeable when I walk into the space, but it stays soft in the background instead of taking over the entire house.I have always liked reed diffusers because they are such an easy way to keep a room smelling nice without having to remember to light or turn anything on. I especially like having one near an entryway because scent is one of the first things people notice when they come into a home.This one just happens to make my house smell a little like my grandma, and I kind of love that. Hopefully everyone who walks in feels cozy and at home instead of wondering why I suddenly smell like somebody’s very well moisturized grandmother.I am taking off one star mainly because I do not think the scent matches the vanilla description very well, but as a light powdery floral fragrance, I really like it.

I was rather to open this when it arrived because my previous one has been empty for a while. The old one was an attractive bottle: angled and warm-toned. It had an expensive look about it, but I never really smelled it the way I thought I should.THIS ONE is different. The angel is delightful! While the bottle itself looks a bit plain, I do love the color of the liquid. It reminds me of a touch of bourbon with baby powder mixed in. Now, that's not something I wouldn't ever thought to purchase for myself. But I'll admit it's nice! When I bought it, I thought it sounded interesting but no one at that time had really given a description of it beyond "it smells great". I hope this helps!The cap (plug) was a bit challenging to get off. Careful you don't injure yourself trying to pry it up using something sharp.

It reliably fills an average-sized room with a fragrance that's clearly noticeable without being overwhelming.I've placed it in several different areas around my house, and it has performed consistently well in each spot. What I really appreciate about this style of diffuser is the charming vintage, rustic aesthetic it brings to any space, and the fact that you can flip the rattan reeds upside down whenever you want to refresh and intensify the scent.My advice is to pick it up when it goes on sale. You definitely won't be disappointed. I absolutely love it!

Well, this fragrance certainly isn't hiding.I've tried a surprising number of reed diffusers where, after a few days, I'm wandering around wondering whether there's actually any fragrance in the bottle. This is NOT one of those. This stuff really packs a punch.I'm a little on the fence about whether I personally love the Bourbon White fragrance. I get the vanilla/floral thing, and it's pleasant enough, but I'm not yet sure it's a scent I'd choose to marry. Fragrance is incredibly subjective, though, so I'm not knocking off a star for that.What I can say without hesitation is that it's STRONG. I put a little of the oil in my ultrasonic diffuser just to get a better sense of the fragrance and... wowza. There is absolutely no need to stick your nose over this bottle wondering whether it's working.The diffuser itself looks nice and understated. It only comes with four reeds, which initially seemed a little skimpy to me, but considering the strength of the fragrance, four should be plenty. My box arrived somewhat damaged, which would have bothered me if I'd bought it as a gift, but the bottle itself was perfectly fine.Five stars from me because whether or not this particular fragrance ends up being my personal favorite, I really appreciate a home fragrance product that actually FRAGRANCES THE HOME. This one understood the assignment.
